15 Facebook Post Ideas for Small Business to Boost Clicks, Conversions & Engagement in 2015
As a small business starting out on Facebook you’ve probably noticed the “reach” metric under your posts, and thought “what’s the point of using Facebook for marketing at all?”
What is Facebook reach? Reach is the amount of people who have seen your post. Increasing your reach is simple. When somebody likes or shares your post, then your post will show in their friends Facebook feed. The more engagement you get from people, the further your page will reach.
Facebook is not like Twitter or any other platform because it was built on close personal relationships, and those relationships don’t like adverts from companies swamping their Facebook feed. However, if you can entertain them, you will have brand champions who will stop at nothing to share your content!
Here are some Facebook ideas for small businesses that will boost clicks, conversions, shares and engagements.
1) Try Posting Some Quizzes, Surveys or Create a Poll.
Everybody loves quizzes and polls especially when they are fun (not boring demographic surveys). Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve heard about Buzzfeed. If you never hear about them again, take away this golden nugget; 75% of their blog traffic comes from Quizzes.
Here’s another type of poll that not only got plenty of engagement, but also gave the publishers a better idea about which type of content they can publish in the future that will drive new traffic and repeat traffic.
2) Try a Competition
Competitions are a great way to create engagement, and they also give back to your loyal customer base.
3) Ask Questions
It’s a lot easier, emotionally, to simply post content that gets zero likes or engagement, than it is to invest in creating questions and realise that no one cared enough to respond. To improve engagement be sure to reply to every response to your questions, the more that people see you are real and human, then the more interaction you’ll get from others who see your post.
4) Post Personal Photos
